Lake Placid High School Sound of the Dragon Band September Student of the Month is Billy Meddings, an 11th grader who plays tenor saxophone. He is a member of Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Percussion Ensemble, and serves as the current Band Captain. His activities include JROTC. Musical accomplishments include being a featured soloist in this year’s field show and earning a Superior Rating at the 2024-25 FBA Solo & Ensemble MPA. Congratulations, Billy!
