Are you planning to attend a trade school program (6–24 months) after graduation? Ag Angels is offering a Trade School Scholarship valued at up to $5,000 to help students earn a certificate or degree and enter the workforce with real-world skills! 💪🛠️

✅ Who can apply?

✅ Basic Requirements Include:
• GPA 2.0 or higher
• Letter of recommendation from a teacher or school staff member
• Academic history provided by the guidance department
• Plan to attend a 6–24 month trade school program
• Proof of enrollment before receiving funds
• Proof of passing grades to continue receiving funds
• Participate in an interview if selected

We encourage every member of our Dragon family to send at least one note of appreciation to a student or staff member. Whether it’s a teacher who has gone above and beyond, a staff member who keeps things running smoothly, or a student who is working hard to "soar," a simple word of encouragement goes a long way.

How you can participate:

Lake Placid High School students planning to attend Prom or Grad Bash Universal 2026—this is an important reminder!

To be eligible to purchase tickets, you must:
✔️ Maintain at least 90% attendance
✔️ Have no more than 5 absences
✔️ Have no more than 5 tardies to 1st period

📅 These requirements are tracked January 6 – April 3.
❗ 6 or more absences or tardies = loss of eligibility

📝 Remember: Excuse notes must be turned into the front office within 2 days of an absence.

Lake Placid High School will be closed for Winter Break from Monday, December 22, 2025 through Friday, January 2, 2026.

We wish all of our students, staff, and families a safe, restful, and well-deserved winter break filled with warmth, joy, and time to recharge. 🌟

Teachers and staff will return Monday, January 5, and students will return Tuesday, January 6. We look forward to welcoming everyone back and kicking off a wonderful new year together at LPHS! 💚🐉
