We're thrilled to announce Laura Vega from Lake Placid High School as the 2026 recipient of the Florida Prepaid Superintendent Scholarship! Thanks to our partnership with Florida Prepaid College Plans, Laura has received an $8,000 (approximate value) 2-Year College Plan Scholarship to support her future education.

In collaboration with public school superintendents, Florida Prepaid awards this two-year college plan, valued at approximately $8,000, to cover tuition and fees for 60 credit hours. After graduation, Laura plans to attend South Florida State College to pursue a degree in elementary education. As a former kindergarten teacher, this is a path close to the superintendent's heart, and we hope this scholarship serves as a vital stepping stone toward her goals.
