Lake Placid High School students and staff are invited to join our SGA in spreading awareness, acceptance, and support for individuals with developmental disabilities! Together, we can show our Dragon pride while learning about important causes that impact many members of our community.

Here’s how you can participate each day:

💜 Wednesday: Wear purple for Tourette syndrome awareness

🐲 LPHS teachers took part in an engaging AVID Amazing Race WICOR activity on Thursday during Professional Development!

Through collaborative challenges and hands-on stations, teachers explored strategies to strengthen Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading (WICOR) in their classrooms to support student success.

A special thank you to Mrs. Brady for planning and organizing these activities and for helping our teachers continue to grow and incorporate WICOR strategies into daily instruction. 💚
